Nusa Dua, CNBC Indonesia - The government wants to capture international attention towards Indonesia by exhibiting the country's culture and various state projects at Indonesia Pavilion.

The showcase would serve as a window of Indonesia to bring out its potentials to all delegates from 189 countries who attended the International Monetary Fund (IMF) - World Bank (WB) Annual Meetings in Nusa Dua Bali, on October 8-14.

"We [Indonesia] can present a picture to the visitors so they can take a glance at Indonesia richness, beauty, and creativity," said Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Rini Soemarno on the sidelines of Indonesia Pavilion inauguration Tuesday (9/10/2018).

Rini officially opened the exhibition together with Head of Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) Triawan Munaf and the ministry's deputy for financial, survey and consultant businesses Gatot Trihargo.

Local artists performed as the officials, including a number of SOEs board of directors members, entered the venue during the opening ceremony.

"Indonesia takes action through introducing its tradition [for international audiences], we move forward," Triawan said.

Indonesia Pavilion is a joint cooperation between SOEs Ministry, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ministry, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, Communication and Information Ministry, Finance Ministry, as well as Bekraf.

The exhibition, which is situated in the main area of IMF-WB Annual Meetings, shows off Indonesia's economic achievements and national strategic projects data. Other than infrastructure development progress, government also displays tourism destinations, cultural arts, and traditional crafts at the venue.

The SOEs ministry aims to attract investors by showcasing various investment opportunities worth around US$3.1 billion in hospitality and tourism sectors, with projects value worth up to US$3.6 billion, through the exhibition of Indonesia Pavilion.
