Pandemi Covid-19 semakin parah melanda Jerman. Bahkan, fasilitas kesehatan (faskes) negara itu sudah mulai menyatakan tanda-tanda ambruk.

Akibat lonjakan kasus covid-19 pasar Natal yang sangat terkenal di kota Munich, Jerman telah dibatalkan karena adanya peningkatan kasus COVID-19 di Jerman. Ini merupakan tahun kedua pasar natal dibatalkan. Berita mengenai pembatalan pasar natal ini diumumkan oleh walikota Dieter Reiter.
