Hubungan Korea Selatan (Korsel) dan Korea Utara (Korut) makin memanas. Kedua negara menguji coba rudal balistik di hari yang sama dan hanya beberapa jam.

Korsel mengatakan senjata itu diharapkan membantu Korsel mencegah potensi ancaman eksternal, meningkatkan postur pertahanan diri dan mempromosikan perdamaian di Semenanjung Korea. (AP)

Uji coba rudal Korsel dilakukan sesudah dua peluncuran rudal balistik jarak pendek milik Korut, yang terdeteksi oleh militer Korsel pada Rabu pagi. Mereka mengatakan rudal Korut terbang sekitar 800 km (497 mil) pada puncak 60 km (37 mil) sebelum mendarat di perairan antara Semenanjung Korea dan Jepang. (AP)
